So on Thursday we picked up a car at the airport and started traveling north to the Highlands. We're driving a Vauxhall Astra, it's about the same size of the Mazda. It's kind of a quirky car, the front windows are automatic but the back are manual hand cranks. The Defrost only blows on the windshield and doesn't blow on your feet so its kind of a game back and forth with the heater controls. We managed to get out of the airport parking lot without and incident and I only curbed the left side tire once by the time we were on the highway.
The drive up to Ullapool was pretty scenic lots of farms, forest, sheep and a few cows. Most of the homes are 50+ years old. We found out yesterday in service that the house numbers are addressed by order of being built as opposed to being in order like 1-2-3. So if your at house 1that's the first one built on that street and 25 was the 25th one built, but 25 could be right next door, Weird as to how to keep track of not at homes.
So this is short and we're on the way out the door to the meeting. I'll post pictures later.
